Okay so I was heckuva bored of my prev. home page. Plus, the wording there made me sound too full of myself!
I love Silverlight! I really do. I am so enthused by this technology lately, that I could spend day and night futzing with it. In fact, when dev’ing for SP now, I heavily use SL.
Anyway, 2 evenings of work, and I have a brand new home page done in Silverlight. It talks to a back-end WCF service to get it’s content, so it downloads really quick (68KB).
Also, the page is SEO enabled. Google still gets to see text versions of the content. The page will also gracefully degrade on computers that don’t have SL installed.

looks good, however, i notice a faint border around the rotating text. it would look better if this was not visible. i have enjoyed listening to you on dotnetrocks and dnrtv
