Here is wishing Bill Gates a happy retirement!

Trivia -

If you would have invested $10K in Microsoft when it went public in 84, by the time Bill Gates stepped down from being CEO - that was worth $7.84 million.

If you would have invested $10K when Steve Ballmer became CEO, that would now be worth $4700.

Not sayin' Ballmer is a bad CEO, but I just feel that the company seriously needs to reinvent itself. It is not possible to tell whether Bill Gates departure will be good, or bad for the company - but change is always good, and Bill is leaving for bigger better goals.

Here is wishing Bill Gates a happy retirement, the man who changed the face of this planet, and is a big hero in my eyes.

Sahil, I think "when Steve Balver became CEO" doesn't belong in the first sentence, but otherwise I agree wholeheartedly, --rj
