I'm still coming, but on an incredibly tight schedule. I'm landing on 12th morning and flying out on 13nth night. Evenings are already booked, so hopefully we can hook up during daylight.

I will be speaking at the SharePoint for ECM mini-track at Devconnections in Las Vegas.

I will be presenting on three different topics -

  • 5 SharePoint friends in an ECM world.
  • Large object storage in SharePoint
  • Why content types are your friend

ECM is my #1 favorite topic in general. I have implemented ECM solutions involving both SharePoint and Documentum at numerous extremely large scale clients, and have close relationships with Documentum partner companies. I have also previously spoken at EMC World on Documentum and SharePoint 2007 integration.

The above talks are specific to SharePoint however.

If your organization is considering MOSS as your ECM platform, and you want a fair and complete analysis of what to expect out of MOSS versus other industry standard ECM platforms such as Documentum, Opentext, Filenet etc., I would love to have a discussion with you at the conference in the hallways, before and after the talk etc. Or in general, if you have a strong interest in ECM, RM, RP and compliance in general, we should chit chat.

These talks, will be deep in ECM, and extremely deep in SharePoint 2007.

I hope to see you there.
