SharePoint is all about functionality. Silverlight, is a tonne about glitz and accessibility. Put the two together, and you have a real tasty dish. Presenting, Silverlight Blueprint for SharePoint. It includes, - A simple “hello, world” sample showing Silverlight in a Web part.
- A Silverlight slider control as a SharePoint custom field type.
- A navigation control.
- A Colleague Viewer that uses lookups in Active Directory by using Windows Communication Foundation.
- A Silverlight picture viewer from a SharePoint picture library.
- A visual how-to center, created in Silverlight and based on a SharePoint list, for viewing videos.
Now THATS hot!

I feel ripped off. I was at Scott Guthrie's Blog looking at all the 2.0 demos, then I download the how to for the web parts. I was sad when I realized that 2.0 Beta 1 is not public yet. I want to play with 2.0 and SharePoint, not 1.0.
