Upcoming training on WSS - ask your boss now!!

Posted on 2/17/2008 @ 1:54 AM in #SharePoint by | Feedback | 4836 views

From March 10 to March 13, I will be delivering an exhaustive through and through training on WSS through the Ted Pattison group at the Reston MTC.

Even if you are  MOSS person, you shouldn't miss this training, because you can't really be good at MOSS without your WSS fundamentals straight.

The Ted Pattison group has extremely high standards with literally every superstar in the SharePoint space training for them. The training material is quite outstanding, and this isn't a training you want to miss.

I am a consultant first, and trainer second. I am not a "train-only" kinda guy. That has put me in the lucky position of being able to share plenty of real world experience, and what works, and what is Microsoft rhetoric. So, I assure you, this class will be outstanding.

But, at the same time, due to my consulting commitments, I have an incredibly limited availability, so I am not doing a tonne of these. After this one, the next one might be on the other side of the globe or a few months out.

Try not to miss out on this. Go ask your boss now!

Sound off but keep it civil:

I am attending. Looking forward to it! Any suggestions for preparation prior to the first day?

Great, I look forward to seeing you there Andrea.

Okay, for prior prep -

a) Make sure that you co-ordinate with the TPG group. They are much adept at the logistics part to ensure that you walk in, with what you need. So if they tell you to bring a laptop to a certain spec, do so. But definitely ask if you already haven't been given this info.

b) Get plenty of sleep. It's a 4 day class, and we intend on having lots of fun. You being a dozing pigeon in the class will only add to our fun. :)

Hey Kalpesh,

All trainings are on Ted's site, but I am going to ping Ted for a bay area training, and see what he thinks of it. :)
