I had been meaing to post this for a while, but things kept getting in the way, one after another.
So, I am talking about this book here.
I *LOVE* this book. Sorry, but there are no other words! Go and buy this book right now, don't walk, but run to the closest book store.
So lemme tell ya why I like this book so much.
a) It is very well and logically organized. (Unlike MSDN SDK).
b) It offers a decent ramp up/not a 75 degree upward slope (Unlike MSDN SDK)
c) It is thorough - doesn't eat any steps or screenshots (Unlike MSDN SDK)
d) It has a personality. It has random funny stuff all around. (Unlike MSDN SDK, which talks like a lawyer)
e) It is full of practical tips.
Lets put it this way, I wish, every darned book I read was written this way. Some books are just too dull and drab, why can't we make this stuff more fun!?
Good work David!
