Guys, I know you all like me so much, so here is the ultimate sharepoint machine I want for Christmas -
I've opened the help sahil fund, all donations, hopefully large, are welcome.

Besides that, I am sure you noted the word Linux in the article. I am pretty sure you won't make it with Windows there. So, what's left? Running Windows in virtual host?

In an ideal world, I'd put VMware ESX on it, and virtualize windows on it.
Damn, my donation fund requirement just went up to about 100K.
Seriously, how much I'd love to have a san array, rackmount server, and VMware ESX at home.
