In this article, I carry the discussion further and demonstrate WebPart connections and other advanced scenarios. I then talk about the interconnection between SharePoint 2007 and ASP.NET 2.0 and demonstrate how Sharepoint 2007 is built upon ASP.NET 2.0. Finally I deploy some webparts written in ASP.NET 2.0 on SharePoint and demonstrate them working with SharePoint webparts.
